The Chiltern Chase is a multi-terrain run, covering 5km, 10km or 15km. This popular course is based around the beautiful South Oxfordshire village of Ewelme. Runners enjoy picturesque bridleways and rugged trails of the Chiltern Way, accompanied by red kites overhead and occasional hare and deer.

Running for over ten years, The Chiltern Chase has raised an incredible £77,000 for charity, and is managed by an experienced committee and supportive marshals. Refreshments are provided by Ewelme School PTA, so join us in a great day out for both runners and supporters alike.



Charities We Support


The Ewelme School PTA was set up in 1997, (Charity Registration Number:1066698). It is a well-established and successful parent/teacher association and runs a number of fundraising events to support Ewelme School and help further pupils’ education.

Over the years The Chiltern Chase has raised funds for a number of worthwhile charities, supporting issues as diverse as mental health. The Chiltern Chase Committee will be soon be announcing its 2017 chosen charity, more details will be available in early 2017.
