The Chiltern Chase began as a 10km charity run.
The event may also be called;

The Chiltern Chase comprises 10km & 5km* multi-terrain runs, in and around the beautiful South Oxford village of Ewelme.
Being situated in the Chiltern Hills, both courses take in the Chiltern Way, bridleways and off-road sections with numerous amazing Red Kites flying overhead.
This year the Charity supports the Friends Of Ewelme School (FOES) together with the Ewelme Sports Pavilion Fund, and the Chiltern Chase Race Committee would like to thank the Sponsors and the Supporting Organisations for their continued commitment to the event.
The Chiltern Chase is run under UKA regulations and is covered by their insurance (Licence No. 2012-103663).
